Scoped keys, signed webhooks, and a live event stream
Keys are scoped, so a scoreboard that only reads the queue never gets the power to refund a tip. Webhooks are signed, and a delivery that fails is retried for nearly two days before it is given up on.
For anything that needs to react the instant something happens, the same events are available over a plain WebSocket: open a socket to wss://ws.tippage.com, send your key as the first message, and tips, queue changes, Twitch and Kick events and chat commands arrive as they happen, grouped by channel so you only subscribe to what you use.
Their build can take over playback entirely: claim a tip, run the show, mark it finished, and the queue rolls on with the dashboard and chat still in step. No other platform hands outside code that much control.
