The AI filter, first of its kind
There is an ugly trick on tip platforms: pay £2, and the TTS voice reads whatever you typed out loud on your stream. People use it to say a streamer's real name, their street, their family's names, live in front of the whole audience. It's one of the most common ways streamers get doxxed.
The filter is your line of defence. You give it a list of things that must never be said on your stream, and every tip message goes through it before it plays. A normal word filter only catches exact spellings; TipPage's runs an AI that reads each message the way a listener would hear it, so C4L UM, sound-alikes and split words get caught too. Everything else plays untouched. Basic word filtering is free for everyone; the bypass-aware AI pass is part of TipPage+.
A chat bot with actual manners
TipPageBot runs your chat for free: queue commands, custom !commands with variables, cooldowns and per-role gating, and moderation that understands disguises. Ban a phrase once and every accented, stretched, leetspeak spelling is caught with it, each phrase with its own outcome, from a warning to a permanent ban.
Mods can wave a regular through with !permit. And with TipPage+ the bot speaks as your own Twitch account, so chat sees your brand, not ours.
Alerts, sub rewards and channel points
Follows, subs, gift subs, cheers, raids and resubs fire through the same overlay and the same queue as tips. Turn any of them off with one click, set a minimum for cheers, and let the bot announce each one in chat with your own template.
Subs earn free TTS and song credits automatically; channel point rewards can trigger real actions, and TipPage refunds the points automatically when something can't play. Viewers can sign in with Twitch on your tip page, and you can require it, so every message has a name attached.
An overlay for every scene
Build as many overlays as you stream scenes: one for Just Chatting, one for gameplay, one for the break screen. Each one mixes its own widgets, laid out on a fixed canvas so what you position is what OBS shows, pixel for pixel. One browser source per scene and you're done.
The chat widget speaks fluent 7TV and BetterTTV, so your emotes render on stream the way chat sees them.
Bans that actually stick
On most platforms a banned troll is back two minutes later with a fresh email and another £2. TipPage runs its own ban engine, built in-house: ban a donor once and it recognises them when they try to come back, and blocks the payment before they are ever charged. The more they try, the better it gets at spotting them.
It runs entirely on one-way hashes: the signals it compares are scrambled per streamer before they are ever stored, so there is nothing readable to leak and nothing that can be matched against another streamer's page. What we keep can answer exactly one question, is this the same person you banned, and nothing else; it can't be read back into a name, an email or a card.
And it only ever looks at people you've banned. Everyone else just tips.
Money that behaves like it should
Card tips run through Stripe and settle into your own Stripe account. Stripe takes its processing fee; TipPage takes nothing, and never holds your funds. And privacy runs both ways: the tipper's bank statement says TipPage, never your legal name (which is how streamers on other platforms have been doxxed), and you never see their card details, email or address. Neither side can look the other up.
PayPal is supported too: those tips land directly in your own PayPal account with PayPal's own receipts, so that privacy wall doesn't apply there. Fraud screening runs platform-wide, so a card burned on any streamer is blocked for all of them, and if a card tip gets disputed, TipPage+ covers the dispute fee.

Send a mod a one-time invite link. They sign in with Twitch and land in the same dashboard you use, but they only see the areas you ticked: the queue, the filter list, moderation, the bot. Whatever you left unticked simply is not there for them.

If it runs code, it can react to your tips. A phone on your desk that rings when someone tips and reads the message when you answer. Lights that change colour with the amount. A scoreboard, a receipt printer, a confetti cannon on a big one.
For whoever builds it: keys are scoped, so a scoreboard that only reads the queue never gets the power to refund a tip. Webhooks are signed and retried for nearly two days, so a Raspberry Pi asleep at 4am misses nothing. And their build can take over playback entirely: claim a tip, run the show, mark it finished, and the queue rolls on with the dashboard and chat still in step. No other platform hands outside code that much control.

TipPage runs as a fleet of independent services on our own Kubernetes cluster. The tip page, the payment pipeline, the queues, the bot and the overlay feed are separate deployments that scale on their own, so a spike in one can't starve the others.
Each service runs as multiple stateless replicas: any replica can serve any request, shared state lives in the data layer, and if a machine dies mid-stream, traffic re-routes to its neighbours in the same instant. Your viewers never see it, and neither do you.
Deploys are zero-downtime by design. Overlays hold a WebSocket to a dedicated realtime tier that stays up while new code rolls out behind it, so we ship daily and your browser source never even reconnects. Twitch events arrive as signed deliveries and are retried until we've acknowledged them; a restart on our side never drops an alert.
The cluster itself accepts no inbound connections. It has no public address to attack; traffic reaches it only through a private tunnel the cluster opens outward. Inside it, your connected account credentials are stored under AES-256, and webhook signing secrets are sealed per streamer.
