Cookies Policy

TipPage operates several distinct surfaces - the streamer dashboard (my.tippage.com), individual tip pages (e.g. yourname.tippage.com or your custom domain), and the overlay (overlay.tippage.com). The cookies used differ by surface and are described below.

Strictly necessary

These cookies are essential to provide the service. They cannot be switched off. No consent is required for them under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

Functional

These technologies are required to deliver specific features. They cannot be disabled without breaking the relevant feature.

Analytics

These cookies help us understand how the dashboard is used so we can improve it. They are set only on the streamer dashboard (my.tippage.com) and are not placed on tip pages or the overlay.

We rely on legitimate interest as the lawful basis for analytics on the dashboard, as described in the Privacy Policy. If you object to this processing, you can opt out by disabling JavaScript or using a browser extension that blocks PostHog.

TipPage does not use:

• Advertising or tracking cookies
• Third-party social-media tracking pixels
• Cross-site tracking of any kind
• Cookies on tip pages for anything other than sub-reward sign-in and fraud prevention

Some features load content from third parties that may set their own cookies:

• Stripe - when a Stripe payment element is loaded on a tip page, Stripe may set cookies for fraud prevention and to remember saved payment details. These are governed by Stripe's Cookies Policy.
• YouTube - if a tip page embeds a YouTube video preview, YouTube may set cookies. We use youtube-nocookie.com where possible to limit this.

We do not control third-party cookies. Please refer to the relevant provider's policies.

You can control cookies in several ways:

• Browser settings - all modern browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from staying logged in.
• Browser extensions - tools such as uBlock Origin can block specific scripts (e.g. PostHog analytics) without affecting session cookies.
• Do Not Track - we respect the DNT browser signal where feasible, though it does not affect strictly necessary cookies.
